A Family In Dire Need
Donation protected
On this morning at worship one of our sisters in Christ shared a heartbreaking story, she and her family of five are about to be evicted from their apartment. This family was adopted by our congregation a few years ago durning the Christmas season, the mom is disabled and the dad has been unable to find steady work, their teenage son works but it's hardly enough to make a difference. We took on the responsibility of assisting them with many of their financial needs, including rent. It was beautiful to see God's family actually living out what the Apostle Paul so vividly described in Acts 2:45. Our little congregation shared our blessings from the sale of property with this little family and so many others, it really brings me to tears as to the many seeds that have been sown as a result of our giving, both globally and in our community. Well, we've reached a place where we can no longer assist in this manner but we're eternally grateful for what God has done through his small body. As I was leaving this morning I thought man, I wish I could do something...Well, you know the rest of the story:) If you can assist in any way it will be kindly appreciated, they actually need the money on tomorrow, March 30th @ 3pm., I know this is such short notice but we just found out. Sorry!!! It's not always easy sharing hardships like this. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. xoxoxox!!! If you would like to assist but would like for it to go through the church please message me...checks can be made out to the Vista church of Christ. Please pray for this family, thank you!
