Saving scooter

Dear Family and Friends,
Many of you know I have been trying to save Scooter from the rspca, they have been unreasonable and have not put this birds care above the requested price tag they feel they are entitled to solely based on the breed of Scooter.
Scooter is a blue and gold macaw that has had a terrible life, due to his requirements not met by many previous owners scooter has now been through 4 homes and finally dumped at the rspca due to hes aggressive behaviour and loud screaming. Which the rspca lie about in his adoption advertising they state he is "quiet and shy" which is far from the truth.
The last owner of Scooter bought him on a whim because he was cheap ($1000including cage)
And yet the rspca demand $4000 for him simply because hes a macaw. I feel they may let him go for $3000 possibly.
Once we rescue him he will need a full vet check with an avian specialist and microchipping which will be around $900.
He will have free training with Animal Behaviouralist Lee Stone who is trained fully qualified and specialized with birds.
We will also be starting a fb page about Scooter filled with many fundraising activities and auctions to help get funds for Scooter.
Once successful we can then use the page to follow his rehabilitation journey with his new family, who have had first hand experience with rescue macaws as they have saved 2 "untamable" macaws that are now snuggle bugs.
