Save Max

What was a beautiful day at the beach has turned into my dogs life or death. I had the day off from work Friday so I took Max with me. He's been home alone a lot lately due to my new job, so I thought it would be nice to get him out. Little did I know he would consume a sand castle in his little tummy. Around 5pm he started vomiting and continued through the night. I took him to the emergency room at about midnight and they gave him a shot. By the time we got home he vomited again and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. The next morning I took him to the vet. They did a blood test and a x-ray to find that he had impacted sand in his small intestines. They decided to put him on an iv and enimas to get it moving out of his system so I had to take him to the animal hospital. He had to stay over night last night with the hopes that it would decompact. This morning I've gotten the news that it is not moving threw the small intestines and we are looking at possible surgery.

This has all come out of left feild to me, as I thought we were just having a good day. Now my dogs life is in danger. He is more than just my dog, he is my baby and my puppy soulmate. I have had him for 11 years and he has helped me through so much. 

The animal hospital doesn't have payment plans so they have to have the payment upfront to even help my little baby, which is awful, so this is my option at the moment. 

I'm reaching out for your help so I can get my baby the treatment he needs to live. I would be forever grateful for your help. If you know me or Max you know how much he means to me and so many he has touched along his way.
