Smith Family Support

Last year Michele Smith left us way too early, passing away from pancreatic cancer in July of 2018.  Her two young sons, husband and family were devastated.  Just a few short months later, her father Dominic succumbed to the same disease.  Her family has had to endure so much sadness in such a short period of time, it was our hope that they could finally start to heal. 

Now they find themselves facing tragedy again.  In October, Michele's husband, Steve, had a terrible car accident, sustaining significant brain injuries.  Michele and Steve's sons, Connor and Jack, are staying with family and they are all focusing on ensuring the boys are OK.  

I was privileged to work with Michele in SAP marketing and she was my co-worker and my dear friend.  Krista and Mike Gioffre, as the guardians for Connor and Jack, will have access to the funds to manage the needs of the kids as well as Steve's medical expenses. 

Let's do what we can to help them -We all feel a desperate need to do something and this is our chance. This is  something we can control when so much else is out of our hands.
