Overcoming Lyme. Help for Sara.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Roberta and I am Sara Brunner's friend. Many of you may know by now Sara has finally been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease.
Sara has undergone extensive visits to hospitals, specialists, doctors and the Mayo Clinic in the past year and a half and she finally has a diagnosis. Sara is a true optimist and fighter and has made the best of this very tough situation on her body and her mind. Trusting her instincts and perservering through these trials and tribulations. The past year and half have been trying on her, her husband Stephen, her family and her friends. With Chronic Lyme Disease the affected 'look' fine but on the inside are going through a turmoil and mutiny of the body that we can never fully understand. As a small community we know her, love her and care for her, this page is here to offer her our support.
Sara has found one of the best Lyme Specialists in North America and begins her journey to recovery this week (March 16, 2016) in Washington. Sara's treatment will be years and requires many trips to Washington for unknown amounts of time (most likely longer periods as opposed to short) depending on how she responds to treament methods.
The money raised will be used towards these trips to Washington. Sara's health and recovery are most important. Helping alleviate the worry of cost gives Sara and Stephen one less thing to worry about. Even if you cannot donate anything I strongly urge you to educate yourself on Lyme Disease.
10% of the donations here on gofundme will be donated to a reputable Lyme foundation of Sara's choice in order to help further research and assistance for Lyme Disease treatment, awareness and prevention. Sara will be a strong advocate for Lyme Disease awareness to ensure no one has to go through years of being undiagnosed and suffering.
Thank you for anything you can give, I love Sara and she is a true fighter and may have a long road ahead in terms of recovery, but I am so excited for what the future has in store for her as she regains her quality of life. I know she will be truly grateful for anything our community can give as well.
