F*CK CANCER

This cannot be real.Last week Kendall found a lump in her armpit. A CT Scan confirmed, a mass the size of a key lime under her arm and another, larger mass in her chest. Yesterday, March 19th, 2018 at 12:21pm she got the phone call we were all dreading. It’s Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Her cancer has returned. Just like that. 4 1/2 years after she kicked cancer’s ass, it’s real. Today she is having a PET scan to see where the disease is in her body. Tomorrow her doctor will go over the results and have a treatment plan ready for her. From there, she will have a bone marrow test, pulmonary function test and port placement. Kendall is the mother of a beautiful 1 year old girl, Sofia and Wife of Fily Bencomo, who is a full time nursing student. Currently, Kendall is the Marketing Director for Garrison’s Home in Central Point, Oregon and she is the SOLE financial provider for their household. The Bencomo Family is surrounded by friends and family praying for her healing and for their strength. In this time, where their whole world has been turned upside down and while they find the strength to stay positive and brave, I know her friends and family want to help in anyway that they can and easing the financial burden that is the rotten cherry on top of this horrible disease would be a tremendous relief for them.
