Student Lunch Fund

I want to first start by thanking everyone who has expressed interest to our cause to stop students from receiving alternate lunches (cheese sandwiches).  This journey started about one month ago when I decided to run for District 37 Florida House of Representatives.  As I prepared to begin my campaign, my wife came home from work and expressed her concern about students receiving alternate lunches.  We decided that we could not use money to fund my campaign that could simply pay for students to eat a regular lunch.  A wonderful man named Jim heard of our story and donated money toward my campaign, for me to purchase signs, AND to my wife so we could start paying off accounts. Together we added Jim's donation with our money and started this journey.  

This issue is not just that students are receiving alternate lunches, but more so that it can cause embarrasment, shame and at times, bullying.  

Our mission is to pay off as many lunch accounts as we can.  

Update:  I decided to put all my time and energy to this mission. I removed myself from the race. I can do so much more without running.  Please keep up with our progress.
