Hey!! As many of you know, I am currently in my first semester at Boston University pursuing a Psychology major and completing the pre-medical track. My program, the College of General Studies January Boston-London program is amazing thus far. Boston University far exceeds my expectations for college and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to study at this amazing university.
Additionally, this coming summer semester, starting late May 2019, I am supposed to go to London for 6 weeks. However, I currently do not have the funding for the expenses for this study abroad opportunity. I had saved $11,000 in the 8 months between my high school graduation and the start of my program this past January, however tuition has eaten up all the money I saved for college. Thus, I currently do not have any extra money for food and personal expenses that are not covered in tuition for the London semester. I knew I'd have to take loans to cover my senior year, but I didn't anticipate the added expenses related to this experience.
The London semester will entail three courses during a six week span with the same professors that I currently have in the College of General Studies. I will be taking a Humanities, Social Science, and a Rhetoric course along with weekly excursions around England with my professors.
I am asking for any help that anyone is willing and able to give in order to support my education and finances for my study abroad opportunity and my future at Boston University. For any and all donors I promise lots of pictures and constant updates on my academic journey! :) Thank you in advance to anyone that donates!
