Kingsley's Funeral

Donation protected
My name is Chelsie and here is our story:

On March 17th, 2016 my spouse, Ramon, and our 3 year old daughter, Nevaeh, were at our doctor's appointment to check up on our son. I was 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We were almost at the finish line and we were excited. We had everything we needed and his nursery was all set up and ready to go.

We were pulled to the back after sitting in the waiting room for about 30 minutes and then about 15-20 mintes the doctor came in. He asked how I was doing, all the usual questions. Then he told me to lay back so he could listen to the heartbeat.  Now usually my doctor feels for where the baby is positioned and gets the heartbeat on the first try so it shocked me when i didn't hear anything. He kept moving the doppler around my belly and still nothing.  So he said that maybe he was hiding from him and we would go to the ultrasound room.

We get our things and head straight over to the ultrasound room and get set up. Of course I was a little excited to see our little man on the screen since you only get so many ultrasounds done while pregnant. He puts the doppler back on my belly and first we find out that Kingsley is breach, which means he wasn't head down like we originally thought. Then the doctor kept looking in his chest area and kept trying to see if he could find the heart. I asked if it was beating because I didnt see the beating heart like I had before on previous ultrasounds. The doctor told me no. He showed me where it should've been beating and even opened the sound up to see if we could hear anything. Nothing.

After that we basically went over all the options and decided on an emergency c-section and then try to revive Kingsley would be Kingsley's only hope, but those chances were already slim since we weren't sure how long his heart hadn't been beating because I thought I was still getting good movements like I was supposed to. I could've promised you he moved out in the waiting room!

We drove to the hospital and went immediately to the labor and delivery floor. From there everything was done quickly and I was put to sleep for the c-section, since I had literally ate minutes before my doctors appointment. When I woke up my first question was if Kingsley had made it. The answer was no. He never even took his first breath. And no one knows why it happened.

So now that you know most of the story we are asking for some financial help with the funeral cost. The amount above is exactly what we need to do the burial, buy the casket and vault, and to have the grave opened and closed. That's it. So for all those that has been asking if there is anything you can do for us, this is it. We will be forever grateful for any donations. If a donation is too much right now then please keep us in your prayers. Thank you.
