Tonya Jones fights the fight with cancer

This brave, strong, amazing woman is still smiling. The past few months have been very hard on both her and Dan. Unfortunately, they have been having a hard time keeping her body chemistry regulated and she has had to spend a lot of time in the hospital! Dan has been by her side the entire time, calculating fluid doses and working to keep her in balance. Tonya is home right now but very weak.
I have to be honest with all of you as you love and support these two as much as their family do: things are very difficult and although Tonya is still fighting she is tired, very tired. Dan is tired too. He waited so long to find the love of his life he is not letting her go without a battle.
I wish someone had a magic wand and could take all this pain and disease away. Unfortunately, we do not have such a thing. What we do have is love, prayers and support. I reach out to all of you to double down on all of the above, these two need our help!!

Tonya Jones is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and a colleague. She is known for her genuine and kind soul and is now fighting the fight. Tonya was diagnosed with cancer on November 26, 2018 and during a surgical procedure more cancer was found through out her body on August 8, 2019. She remains optimistic during the hard treatments she endures. Her husband Dan Jones has been by her side every step of the way, taking care of her and continues to give her the love and support she needs during her difficult time in life. Their loving relationship keeps them strong but the high financial costs from medical bills have created a financial struggle for the couple. Help and prayers are always accepted but never expected. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and all donations go directly to the family to help them with medical bills.
Hello friends and family! Kim started this go fund me account to help my Uncle Danny and Aunt Tonya. We are taking the account to the next level and have made a team. Some of you may or may not be aware of this wonderful couples struggles so I am including a narrative to describe what has been happening. On November 26, 2018 Tonya received her first diagnosis of stage 3 ovarian cancer, involving the large intestine. Tonya underwent surgery to remove the tumor on January 9, 2019 and began receiving chemotherapy on February 7, 2019. She received treatment every three weeks thru May 30, 2019. At that time things were looking up and she was hoping to return to work by the end of summer. On August 2, 2019 Tonya started experiencing pain in her abdomen and was admitted to the hospital. On August 8, 2019 it was discovered that she had multiple cancer tumors on her small intestines and walls of the abdomen. After multiple days in the hospital Tonya was stabilized and returned home to Danny’s care. Surgery is currently not an option so Tonya has begun receiving chemotherapy and medication therapy to shrink and cut off circulation to the tumors. This new round of treatment will continue thru February. Last Friday Tonya returned to the hospital after experiencing complications due to her first round of chemo. She is still there receiving treatment but her spirits have remained high and her target of returning to work next summer is still on the horizon. Our goal in setting up this go fund me account is to raise enough funds to offset Dan and Tonya’s growing medical expenses and supplement Dan’s income to make up for lost work days. Uncle Danny is doing an amazing job taking care of Aunt Tonya but in doing so has exhausted all of his leave. Anytime he takes off now is unfortunately unpaid and adds to their growing financial struggles. None of us can help cure this terrible disease that Tonya is battling but we can help alleviate some of their financial worries. Please donate anything you can, no amount is too small and every little bit helps! Feel free to share this information to those who love and care for Danny and Tonya.
