Help Us Help Mom

My mother-in-law recently had a stroke.  Her daughter, my loving wife, dropped everything to be part of her recovery, per the doctor's suggestions.  She regularly travels 3 hours to be there for her mom, staying overnight most of the time.  But, because she hasn't worked at her current company for at least a year, she doesn't qualify for paid family care benefits while she helps her mom recover.  It will be a couple of months before my wife can come back to work and this has been a financial strain on the simple life we try to maintain, while we all enjoy the encouragement of my mother-in-law's slow-but-steady progress.  She is currently in a rehab center and recieving physical and occupational therapy.

I would like to thank everyone in our lives who has helped out thus far, with everything from cards to visits to meals to helpful chores to kind words.  Any help you can offer financially (or otherwise if you know us personally) would be greatly appreciated.
