Reason for crowdfunding:
I would like to start off by saying thank you so much for taking the time to click on this page.
I have never done crowdfunding before but I figured if I were to do one, this would be the project. You all mean so much to Chelsea and I, and we wanted you to be involved in the making of this release. It's something very special and personal.
Through the high’s and low’s of 2019, came these beautiful songs. I believe these are the best songs I have written! They are coming from a place deep down in my heart and soul!
I started writing these songs when I left The Voice in June of last year, with a heavy soul and broken heart. Chelsea was beside me to pick me up and encourage me to get back in the game. She has always uplifted me and pushed me to do my best.
In September her disease, Ulcerative Colitis, got the best of her. Weight loss, a painful infection, lots of doctor visits, and a trip to the ER. It was a very scary and challenging time that put a hold on the momentum we were starting to gain. What transpired in the last six months of 2019 inspired me to write this music, in hopes of being able to share it with you this year. I want you to feel the love, pain, and reality of how I feel. It gives you a window into our lives!
If you decide to be a part in this project, your donations will go toward: recording, mixing & mastering, distribution for all download and streaming sites, CDs, vinyl, and PR & marketing. All to be sure we make a ripple effect in this music industry and honor my amazing wife, while bringing awareness to Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.
