Tabitha is rediscovering summer with her daughter, Kirsten. She found safe shelter at the Rescue Mission and has been clean ten months. Now she is more aware than ever of the beauty of life, “I can look at a tree and notice how many different colors are on a leaf; I look at the clouds and the shapes of each individual one - it’s all so beautiful and I am so blessed to be alive.” To Tabitha, this summer is unlike others before. She found the help they needed to escape homelessness at Boise Rescue Mission Ministries. This summer she has HOPE.




Tabitha and Kirsten are not alone. Last Summer, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries provided more than 35,700 safe nights of shelter for homeless men, women, and children in our community. Here is what some others who have stayed with us and benefitted from our programs have said:
