Grade 6 Trip to Nature's Classroom

The students in the 6th grade at St. Rose School in Chelsea MA are raising money for a field trip to Nature’s Classroom in Hancock, New Hampshire. This four day/three night trip is an invaluable opportunity for our students as they get to spend a few days out of their urban environment and experience our natural world first-hand. The days at Nature’s Classroom are full of planned activities led by inspiring educators that focus on environmental science, team building and other challenges such as a ropes course. For many students, it will be their first time away from home and it may be the only opportunity they’ll have for this type of experience. Without the support from generous donors, most students will not be able to attend. Please help make this dream a reality.

Donations of any size are greatly appreciated! We need to raise all of the money by May 1st.  Here are some suggestions:

$6 - for grade 6
$16 - one dollar for every student in the class
$24 - the year they will graduate from High School
$50 - covers the cost of transportation for one child
$88 – 1% of the total cost of the trip
$125 – covers the cost of one day per child
$250 - one-half the cost for one child
$398 - remaining cost for one child (after family deposit)
$498 - total cost for one child
