On December 23rd the lives of my family changed drastically, one of the most important persons in my life. She was driving down almedaa genoa when an 18 year old was going at high velocity and struck her, the impact was so strong that's she was knocked unconscious and her car caught fire. An angel that was working landscaping in the area could not bare see her Go up in flames so he ran broke the window and dragged her out.
She arrived to the hospital with 15 fractures, 3 in her cranium, collapsed left lung filled with her own blood. Hematoma in her brain. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks and to this day she is still in a wheelchair. She daily Has to take anti-coagulant medicine due to a hemmorage that was found in her brain because if she doesn't she can go to Cardiac arest.
Our insurance does not cover any of her medical expenses and the driver who hit her doesn't hav insurance at all. We tried looking for a lawyer but they all said it was a lost cause because the gentleman and his family don't have the money to pay for the accident. So far the hospital bill is over 150k and she needs 300 dollars worth of medicine each week plus her therapy and her weekly blood check ups to check for the hemmorage. I thought we could do it alone but today they had to hospitalize her again because she needs major surgery on her clavical and shoulder blade which makes this situation even harder and the costs to continue getting high.

El pasado 23 de diciembre la vida de mi familia cambió drásticamente. Una de las personas más importantes en mi vida; mi hermana se encontraba conduciendo por la calle Almeda y un joven de 18 años que manejaba a exceso de velocidad envistió su automóvil tan fuerte que se prendió en llamas. Un angelito que cortaba la yarda no aguanto quebró su ventana y la saco del carro inconsciente evitando que se quemara.
A ella la llevaron al hospital con 15 huesos fracturados, tres fracturas en su cráneo, pulmón izquierdo perforado, sangrado y hematomas en su cerebro. Estuvo hospitalizada 3 semanas, pero hasta el día de hoy necesita usar silla de ruedas, no puede trabajar ni valerse por si misma, tiene q tomar una medicina anticoagulante a diaria pues el accidente causó coágulos en su sangre que son alto riesgo de embolia y paro cardiaco.
Nuestra aseguranza no cubre los gasto y el joven que la choco no tiene aseguranza y ni él ni sus padres tienen dinero para hacerse cargo de los gastos; ningún abogado quiso tomar el caso!!
Las cuentas del hospital ya van pasando los 150 mil dólares, necesita más de 300 dolares de medicina semanal, además de terapia y exámenes de sangre constante que tenemos que pagar inmediatamente. Pensé que podíamos solas, pero hoy la tuvieron que volver a internar en el hospital y va a necesitar cirugía mayor en su clavícula y escápula, lo que hace que toda la situación empeore y los gastos aumenten.
