Puxico Missouri Animal Control

Puxico's Animal Control budget is running low and is in need of supplies such as dog food, treats and raw hides. It is also in need of repairs and needs new kennels and dog houses. We are hoping to build a pen so the dogs can run for exercise.  Anything that would help care for the dogs and repair the shelter is greatly appreciated. We have several dogs that need homes, all funds will be used to feed and house those dogs. Thank you for your donation and support. Puxico Animal Control has only 1 Officer to work the unit, most days that Officer is out on calls and must call in volunteers to come in and watch any dogs that may be in the kennels. There are only 5 kennels and more are needed. At this time.. they can only house Dogs.. and they are a NO KILL facility......They keep the dog as long as they have to until either a person comes in a adopts them or a volunteer adopts them. The Puxico Animal Control unit has only been in place for the past 15 years. Remember, they are a NO KILL facility.....Thank You.
