Aloha University of Hawai’i Rainbow Warrior Football boosters and ‘ohana. We are asking for your kokua to help fund a very special project which will cost an estimated $3000.00 to complete. The painting above is entitled “A Gathering of Chiefs”, by renowned Hawaiian artist, Brook Kapukuni’ahi Parker. Plans call for a 24”x 36” giclee reproduction of the painting to be framed and mounted at the exit of the Rainbow Warrior Football locker room, making it the last thing players and coaches will see when exiting for practice, or boarding the bus for games.
This project will be a legacy piece for Rainbow Warrior football, an inspiration for all players, past, present and future. Warrior Football Super Booster George “Kekoa” Furtado, the chairman of this project, asks for your monetary support with donations large or small. Should funding exceed project expenses, project Treasurer, Randy Hiraki, will present Coach Nick Rolovich with a check to cover other football related expenses (soap?).
