Push For Sugar Kush

Sugar Kush, our spirited 6 month old French Bulldog Puppy, has been a patient at UC Davis Veterinary Hospital since Thursday, 8/16.  Sugar Kush has not been able to keep down her food & is suffering from severe weight loss & regurgitation. She was diagnosed with Aspiration Pneumonia, Pyloric Stenosis, Esophagitis, and possibly a Hiatal Hernia.  Kush's outlook will result in certain demise without surgical intervention. Last evening Sugar Kush underwent surgery to remove the overgrown tissue that was causing the blockage between her esophagus & stomach. As of  today she is still regurgitating and the surgery may NOT have been successful. Plan B is to keep her at the hospital to monitor her closely, as another surgery may be in the horizon.  So far medical, surgical & pharmacy expenses have exceeded $10,000.  Vet bills are rising daily as Kush remains at UC Davis until she is strong enough for a 2nd surgery. Team UCD is doing their magic to help overcome her rare health condition & to reunite her with her family & her brother Diesel. Our family is crushed & we need your help to "Save Sugar Kush". ***We thought we were covering our pup's medical needs by taking out a Pet Insurance Policy when adopting her, but unfortunately the policy does not cover congenital health issues***  Any amount of contributions will be appreciated and all donations will be used for Sugar Kush's recovery. Donations that are not used will be donated to UC Davis Veterinary School for research in treating & identifying this horrific disease.
