Mike went into Ellis Hospital on Monday September 25 for routine surgery to have two large hernias removed from his abdomen. The following day he was admitted to ICU for complications.  He  had to have dialysis for his kidneys and has been on a ventilator ever since. They have been unsuccessful in taking him off the ventilator.  Through this process he has also been diagnosed with diabetes. As of now, there still has been no concrete diagnosis.  Mike has been unable to work for a few weeks and at this point it is unknown when he will be able to return. With this unexpected long term hospital stay, medical bills are mounting and the as you can imagine , the burden of day to day finances are adding up. Mike knows how to light up a room. To hear of him having to go through this is devastating to all of us and especially his loving family. Once you meet Mike, you know he will be your friend for life. If we can all help out our friend and his familyand donate it would be greatly appreciated. You know he would do the same for all of us.
