My name is Shawnah. I am doing this for Melanie, a very dear friend to a lot of us. 
She is one of the most beautiful people you could know inside and out. We are fortunate to have her and would like to keep it that way. She has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her liver and bones. As we all know, a lot of insurance companies do not pay for any kinds of alternative treatments. (sometimes they don't cover enough of anything) There are not many other options for her and I am refusing to accept this prognosis and will be trying anything I can to help her. I am reaching out to everyone I know to help with anything they can. I am trying to get her set up at Hippocrates and/or any other alternative treatments that we can find, as well as help with the fees that we know she will incur during this battle. She has a supportive husband and beautiful little girl to live for. And she is ready to fight!! We are trying to get her some help asap.
