PUG HUGS PUGn RESCUE’S HOSPICE PUGS NEED YOUR HELP!

Welcome to the Pug Hugs Pug Rescue page! Pug Hugs Pug Rescue is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, homeless, sick, and unwanted pugs in Wisconsin and Illinois. We rescue, foster, rehabilitate (and LOVE!) these sweet babies until the joyful day when they are joined with their furever homes! To date we have rescued over 150 PUGS!!
Prior to adoption, each and every pug receives a complete health screening and any needed immunizations, medical, and/or dental care. The cost of this vet care is easily hundreds of dollars just to get one pug up to date.
Unfortunately, many of the furbabies that come to us are extremely ill or needy and require frequent and very costly medications and vet care. These pugs transition into our special hospice home. Some of these beautiful furbabies are blind, some have lost the ability to get around and need special wheels. Many have medical conditions that are not curable. As you can imagine, the costs are enormous and continue to rise daily! The hospice pugs stay at this very special place for their remaining years where they receive the kindness and love they truly deserve.
Despite our ongoing (and never ending) attempts at raising money, our rescue needs your help! In January alone, our vet bill was $5,012.93! It is heartbreaking, but we cannot take in/rescue any more pugs until we can raise money to reduce the ever-rising costs of rescuing. To turn away ANY ANIMAL IN NEED is devastating, and I’m sure if you’re reading this, you agree.
All adoption fees and donations go solely for the rescue, care and placement of these pugs. We rely completely on donations and we work extremely hard thoughout the year fundraising to finance this loving mission. We need your help, no donation is too small, every little bit helps these babies in need!
