This is the official donation page for the Power-Up Digital Games Conference ! We're out to do amazing things for game developers and we've decided to open up donations for some great causes during the month of July, all the way through our conference. Here's a break down of what these donations are for.
You see, the Conference is completely voluntary. Every Special Guest, every Admin, everyone doing this is doing it for free. We want to have the ability to do this again within 6 months, at much higher prestige. Zettabyte Marketing , the main folks running this conference, will get 20% of the donations to go towards bettering the ideals of the PUDGC. We hope to make the next one even better!
40% of all proceeds will go towards the IGDA Foundation . The IGDA Foundation is an off shoot from the main IGDA and supports the game developers directly. They help support the dev community by giving resources to learn and helping support those in need. They give scholarships to budding game devs.
20% of all of the proceeds will go to The AbleGamers Foundation . AbleGamers helps those that can't help themselves. They focus on helping handicapable gamers get the right methods to play the games they love. They sit with game developers in adding accessibility to their games, no matter the disability.
10% of the proceeds will go to Operation Supply Drop . These guys get games and entertainment out to US troops deployed overseas. No matter who you are, or where you are, you deserve some good entertainment.
10% of the proceeds will go to Child's Play . The Child's Play Charity works alongside over 100 different hospitals and grants children their gift wishes for toys and video games, as well as working alongside hospital staff to make the children more comfortable and enjoy their visit a little more.
All of these folks fight the good fight in their own way. Here is a full break down to show exactly where your money is going:

10% - Operation Supply Drop
10% - Child's Play Charity
GoFundMe takes 7.9% of every donation, plus 30 cents (USD). We never even see that part, so we didn't include it. This is the total percentage of the remaining after their share.
We set our goal to be $1000 because we'd like to really give a good amount to each charity, but let's try to beat the goal and have a good time at the Conference!
