Awareness and Educational Materials

The PTN Foundation was founded to provide awareness of and support for those affected by Testicular Cancer. Many young men are unaware of this disease and also many people don't realize this cancer usually strikes men ages 15-40. Because young men are hesitant to discuss things that involve their testicles, we seek to lighten the discomfort of this topic with  humor and information. 

The money provided through our GoFundMe campaign will be used to provide educational and awareness materials (brochures, shower cards, etc) to the community, provide funding for vendor fees for events and festivals so we can help jump start conversations with people in person, help us expand our humorous brand of merchandise (T-shirts, wristbands, etc.) which makes a difficult topic easier to discuss, and administrative fees to keep our website up and running. No funds will be used to pay any staff or executive as this is a strictly volunteer organization at this time.

 I am currently the President/CEO of the organization and the funds provided here would be a major help for the PTN Foundation to achieve its goals and provide more materials and education for the public. We are currently planning to appear at several festivals around Baltimore in 2017 and hope to eventually expand into more neighboring cities to spread our message and information regarding Testicular Cancer. It would be great to have these funds in 2017  in order to achieve our short term goals for this upcoming year.
