I will be traveling to Haiti this June to provide medical care as an EMT to help close the gap between patient volume and available health provider personnel. 

There are four health professionals for every 10,000 people – even less in rural communities. Easily treatable and preventable diseases often lead to death, especially among pregnant women and children.

Your gift empowers Haitians to provide and receive access to quality healthcare which is a fundamental human right. 
We don’t simply “give” Haitians health care and related services through aid and medical missions. Instead, we help Haitians help themselves through grassroots public health initiatives, and by investing in the training and employment of local medical professionals.

Project Medishare helps mothers deliver healthy babies in a safe environment; ensures school children are able to eat a nutritious, well-balanced meal; and much more.
