Project Soar!

Help  local students participate in the launch of the world's largest paper airplane!

The Revolving Museum has embarked on its most ambitious project in our 34 year history entitled PROJECT SOAR: Creating The World’s Largest Paper Airplane that will involve the participation of over 5000 youth, artists, poets, educators, engineers, businesses, civic leaders, and the public in the making of a 60-foot-long paper airplane that will become a Guinness World Record.

Constructed of bamboo poles, corrugated cardboard, and artworks on paper, this extraordinary project will not only become a world record but a catalyst for learning, innovation, social change, urban revitalization, economic growth and civic pride.

The historic flight and special opening festivities will be at Fitchburg’s Municipal Airport on June 12, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
(Rain Date: June 14, 2018) The event is FREE.

We are looking for funds to pay for buses for local school children to attend the big event!
