Greetings!, it is to my dismay that I have to put my pride aside and request financial assistance from those that know me on the internet. I am working on getting my S*** together and obtaining my G.E.D. is a part of that process to a better future and to becoming employed and acquiring a reliable source of income.
I have always been honest and I shan’t even bring myself to a little white lie about graduating high school on a resume that is often overlooked.

I want to pursue volunteering at the local Perris Teen Youth Center to help and inspire teens to make music in this town that has little to no resources of musical articulation.

I would also like to enter the mental health field and become a Peer Support Specialist and both those ambitions require a G.E.D. and one of them requires that you have a mental illness. It would bring me great joy to help people out during a time of their crisis and possibly shed some comfort, insight and positivity in their life and let them know that someone genuinely cares for them and is eager to help as my local peer support specialists at my local mental health clinic has done for me. I am ready to pay my debts to society after not haven been properly employed since 2003

Upon my venture to obtain my GED, I have come across some financial struggles to which my immediate family refuses to assist, which only leaves me with one last resort, reaching out for help.

here is a list of things I need to obtain to acquire my GED

$100 for my first pair of reading glasses
$150 for a monthly bus pass from March to May which costs 50 dollars a month
$35 for School supplies and hygiene products
$150 to pay for the official GED test
$5 to pay for a 1 time service to mynoise.net which I use to help me focus when I study
which comes to a total of

$440

as a stretch goal

I am in dire need of new clothing being that in December of 2017, the majority of my wardrobe was unfortunately lost while taking the greyhound back home from seeing Bogdan Raczynski perform in Houston. Since then I have been left with only one pair of pants, 4 shirts and 3 pairs of socks and undies. It doesn’t feel too good to show up at school wearing the same small rotation of clothing like I would in high school. Shopping for plus size clothes is a bit expensive.

The total worth of clothing I lost was $400

an additional stretch goal

so as you may know, I am a maker of music and all the money I do get goes back into my music. Just recently my Sennheiser 280 HD Pro headphones broke and need to be replaced, the same with my Alesis M1Active 320 usb monitors/audio interface speakers

Total amount is $200

which comes to the sum amount of $1,040
