Pride of AHS 2017 March-a-thon

The Pride of AHS Marching Band is holding a March-A-thon on August 24th to raise monies to support its activities during the school year.
The funds raised will help the Band Boosters provide supplemental support for the AHS Marching Band and Colorguard's competition fees, pay for the music the Marching Band plays and to purchase marching instruments (there are specfic instruments used for marching only). We also use some of the fund to purchase equipment used by the Marching Band for practices (such as scaffolding) and for traveling (dollies, moving platforms and more) as well as a variety of other things as well.
The students of AHS and other schools in the Forest Hills School District are very fortunate to live in a District that passionately believes in supporting the arts, including the music programs at all levels in the District, but no District can do it all. The Boosters step in and supplement the funds the District provides to help the AHS Band students achieve success on the field, in competition and in their co-curricular band experiences.

Come see us play on the 24th from 4:00-5:00. We will be on the corner of Beechmont and Forest Road playing our hearts out while having fun!
