The Preston family has suffered a series of major health, financial, and life catastrophes over the last few years and desperately need some support. Following a long battle with cancer of the neck, Jeremy is in end stage pulmonary fibrosis leaving him unable to work, and they have lost much of their life savings including their Buckingham, PA home of 25 years. In the middle of this crisis Ginnie lost her sister in a prolonged battle with cancer. This fund is set up to help them get back on their feet again. Thanks for your support!
Everyone experiences difficult times in their lives but sometimes they can overwhelm us. Jeremy and Ginnie Preston are in that situation right now. After decades of working hard and giving to the New Hope, PA and Central Bucks communities they find themselves unable to sustain things after multiple tragic events. Their hard work supported the arts, school, and business communities and they have always given generously of their time and resources to individuals and community activities.
After diagnoses and intensive radiation treatment for cancer of the throat and neck, Jeremy developed acute pulmonary fibrosis. As a result, he has extreme difficulty breathing and even walking across the room, no less conducting business or daily work tasks. The medical debt continues to mount as out of pocket expenses and deductibles are not covered. This has forced him to liquidate his business inventory at a massive loss in a tough economy while he restructures his business to be manageable and profitable again.
During this struggle ( in the Great Recession...) they had a number of real estate and financial investments turn south, losing a substantial portion of their life savings.
Ginnie has tirelessly worked to develop her design/fashion business in a difficult market, but has struggled to gain traction given the stresses of their family situation.
Their home has been repossessed and they are having trouble getting re-settled in an apartment as they work to get on a lung transplant list for Jeremy.

All proceeds will be placed in an account titled Jeremy and Ginnie Preston and used solely for the purpose of paying 12 months basic living and medical expenses, approximately $40,000, giving them time to reestablished themselves and get both of their businesses back on track again.
