The community at Xicoco has built this Medicine Wheel, a sacred circle open to all people for prayer and healing. We are now about to lose the land where it is built. The landlord is selling the property, and in a matter of a month, they will come in and tear this beautiful and sacred wheel apart to sell it. We have the opportunity to purchase this land, but we need your help securing the funds to open escrow.

We need your help to be able to preserve the Medicine Wheel, to continue offering it for the benefit of all beings everywhere, to continue with our sacred sweat lodge, our classes, our art, and our teachings.

The Medicine Wheel is a living artifact that is helping many find their inner guide, heal, transform their lives, and bring insight and peace to our world.

With your support, we will be able to set up a non-profit organization to preserve the medicine wheel, to continue with our sacred practices, and to promote the Teachings of Koyote the Blind.

These funds will allow us to obtain a loan to buy the land where the Medicine Wheel is.  Please help us preserve the land and continue offering the teachings, the sacred arts, and our lives for the benefit of all beings everywhere.

We made an offer on the house, and the landlord sent a counter offer asking for more money. We accepted it, and were ready to go to escrow. Two close friends were able to provide an interest free loan to be able to open escrow while we continue with our fundraising. So far so good!

While we waited for the landlord to sign off on the deal, he left the country for a couple of weeks. He came back a few days ago, and we get a note from his realtor saying that he was uncomfortable with the price he asked for because he had seen other houses selling at a higher price. It seemed like a “back to square one” situation.

Fortunately, we are talking to the landlord directly and hope we can get help from him in closing the deal. Here’s crossing our fingers! :)

Mercedes Blue Feather honored us with her sacred drum. She guided a drum circle around Xicoco’s Medicine Wheel, while children played and danced all around.

It was a beautiful event that allowed many new friends from all over Riverside and LA county to experience the Medicine Wheel.

Wopila, Blue Feather!

A big “wopila” (thank you!) to Phyllis Douglass, and Feeling Groovy, for holding a fundraiser to help preserve the Medicine Wheel!

It was a magical event with outstanding performers, talented readers, and beautiful items for auction.

Vos Angelus elevated us with her angelic chanting and trance inducing drumming.

Sharla Sanchez took us on a shamanic ride with her hypnotic hoop dance. It was like being Ang in the world of Avatar, watching a performance by a fierce Kioshi Warrior.

Thank you to the psychics, readers, and coaches who donated their time and talent for this event: Christa Simpson, Viento de Octubre, Phyllis Douglass, Kathlyn Parker, and Ron Holman.

Also, thank you for everyone who donated a great number of magical artifacts and great art for auctions! The beauty and magic added greatly to the success of the event.

Finally, thank you to all who attended, participated, volunteered and donated to this event! This is for you! Wopila!
