Prayers & Support for Laurie Kelly

Neighbors & friends of the Kelly family know what a shining sweet star Laurie is to all who know her.
In the middle of the afternoon (last week on July 4th) the Kelly family world was rocked to its core. Brian thought his wife Laurie and mother of two was having a seizure. He called 911 and started giving her CPR until the medics arrived. When Brian arrived at the hospital he was told that Laurie had a brain aneurysm that had ruptured.
The ER doctor told the family that Laurie had already beaten the odds at that moment as once an aneurysm ruptures you have 50/50 chance to make it to the hospital alive. So clinging to that news Laurie’s journey begins.
At this time, Laurie has had a stroke on the left side of her brain. She has been in an induced coma to better control and determine the best care for her situation on a daily basis. As time passed, the surgeons and specialists made a crucial decision to remove part of Laurie's skull to allow the brain to expand as it swells.
Laurie is still in a coma at this time in ICU and the family asks for your daily prayers to include precious healing for their sweet mommy, wife, daughter, friend, loved one. The children are young but have been told that mommy has something serious happening in her brain.
Each day the family waits and prays that her body gets stronger and God works his miracles as only he can. In the meantime, we know the family is struggling with not only the fear of this sudden jolt but financially the impact is growing quickly.
With that in mind, we are posting a GoFundMe to offer ways to impact and support this sweet family. It's always a helpless feeling when a family or loved one goes through something so sudden and life changing. We hope the monetary gift will ease some of the pressure the family faces at this time. One of the neighbors has organized delivery of meals daily for the next several weeks and the family is so thankful for that kindness and care.
