Pranitha's Medical Funds

Hello All,

I am Mahaveer, a graduate student at Univeristy of Texas at Tyler. My friend Pranitha, a fellow gradute student in my department is currently suffering from
a viral infections and other complications.

This started since she came back from her visit to India in this summer. Initially she suffered from joint pains ,severe body aches, fevers and
chills on daily basis. I took her to a Hematology and Oncology clinic where the doctor saw her condition and suspected that she might have
a cancer. After running hundreds of tests, fortunately the doctors have confirmed that there is no presence of Blood Cancer. However she was diagnosed
with following viruses:

1. West nile virus.
2. Coxsackie virus
3. Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)

After treating for one week, the infection specialist have discharged her and I thought everything will be okay from there. Immediately after the completion of the dosage of the prescribed medicine,
(for one week) she started showing the same symptoms of viral infection again. I took her again (11/08/2016) to the infections specialist,
this time she was medicated with steriods and doctors asked me to bring her back in 6 weeks to see if there are any signs of progress.

Day by day, she started showing more such symptoms along with high fevers, chills and body aches.
We visited the hematologist (11/22/2016) and the doctor had performed the blood test and found that her WBC count increased and RBC, Hemoglobin, Hemotocrit levels dropped enoromously.
This took the doctors to surprise especially because she had a blood transfusion five weeks earlier only to increase the hemoglobin. The doctors also performed a
bone marrow biopsy and results haven't been released yet.

On the evening of same day (11/22), a red rash started to grow on her face and today it spread all over her body. Due to severe itchiness,
we went to the emregency room and from there on she was admitted in ETMC hospital.
The doctors are currently suspecting this might be caused due to viruses and some type of auto immune disorder.

She had to face all of this without having her parents by her side and I was the only one person there to take care of her all these days.
I always thought she was recovering with all the medications and never in my thoughts I expected the condition to get worse day by day.

Now I totally ran out of funds and don't even have any source to borrow further.
She is already indebt to the insurance company for about 25,000$ or more (approx, claim not yet finalised by the company. This is at the time of her discharge on 10/25/2016).
I'm expecting another 20,000$ for todays emeregency care untill she gets discharged. I want to bring her parents here to Tyler as she is now
in need of a better care than ever. Pranitha's and her parents to-fro travel expenses would take another 4000-5000$.

A total of 50,000$ would cover her medical debt, expense for ongoing medical treatment and travel expenses.
We are also looking for other treatments like Natural healing therapies such as Ozone, Mega dose vitamin C IV infusions because there is no
specific treatment to kill virus completely in Allopathy.

Being graduate students, me and Pranitha barely have funds to pay our college tution fee due which it is impossible for us to pay the medical bills .
Pranitha's parents too cannot afford the treatment any further. I wanted to see her get normal again.
