Jasper's Fight Against feLV

Donation protected
Jasper  was brought home on April 21st from a supposedly "feLV free cattery". On June 1st he was taken to the vet and tested for Feline Leukemia, a terminal disease transmitted through feline body fluids. The tests came back and were not completely conclusive as one was a positive and one was a negative. Instead, they sent out an IFA test directly to a laboratory. On June 5th, the results came back positive. We are devastated to find out that our baby Jasper has contracted the feLV, and has a suspected two years to live. My other two cats have since been tested and the results came back negative. The only thing he could have contracted the virus from are his parents, but the original breeder refuses to test. Funds are trying to be raised in order to test jasper monthly to see how the feLV is progressing and in order to accommodate him based off that information. Thank you.
