Kali Grace St Jude

Kali has suffered from focal seizures for a few months now. It has been controlled by a small amount of seizure medicine. Her neurologist requested a MRI to see how close the front left lobe was to forming. Dr Xixi of JC pediatric neurology thought it was close to forming. Mom and dad took her for the MRI Friday what was suppose to take 30 minutes took close to an hour. The nurses said a couple extra pictures was needed with no explanation. Mom called Monday to schedule a appointment to review the MRI. Later Monday Dr Xixi called to inform the family that more had shown on the MRI. A small tumor was showing and ask to come to JC St Jude right away. The drs then explained what it had shown was indeed a tumor but Memphis Tennessee St Jude would have to take it from that point on. With better machines and pediatric surgeons going to Memphis would be next. The family is now waiting to hear what drs think would be best. Her neurologist in JC says brain surgery to remove it. To make sure its not cancerous, or what it is. She also thinks it would stop the seizures.  Waiting on when to leave to go. St Jude pays for one parent and child to fly out. Which leaves one parent and other expenses while away and stay. More then anything they want prayers.
