We are Bennington American Legion Post 13 Baseball. The team consists of elite players from local high schools in Bennington, Manchester, Arlington, Hoosick Falls, and other neighboring towns. We are part of the long established Vermont Legion baseball program; operating for it's 91st year this summer. Beginning in 1969, Post 13 has garnered 8 state championships, 6 runner ups, with several other seasons ending in tourney play. This year's team is looking to improve on last year's very competitive season and get a shot at the playoffs.
(Maybe this year we'll get the good hop and timely hit; instead of the BAD hop and the great defensive play by the other team to shut down our rally!!)
As the 2019 season approaches, I must reach out to our supporters. I have secured funding for our hats and game balls. However, we need donations to help our local Post cover our operational costs; which include League entry fees, umpire fees, and insurances.
Donations of any amount and/or sharing of our cause will be graciously appreciated and accepted from now through July 1st.
Our schedule includes 24 games from 6/12 thru 7/23. Hope to see you at the ball field.
