We are starting this Go Fund Me Page to let everyone know of the great opportunity our girls were given on Tuesday the 29th of August, they travelled down to Adelaide to take part in the SA Nunga Netball trials to play in the National Junior Indigenous Netball Carnival to be held on the Gold Coast, 3rd-7th January, 2018.
The girls aged between 12-14 were successful in gaining a spot in the teams.
They are all very excited about this opportunity and as parents we are extremely proud of their achievements. We feel that being able to attend this event would be a great reward for the their efforts in netball. We also view this as a great opportunity for them to represent Port Augusta, Port Augusta netball and the local Aboriginal community.
Unfortunately, it would be beyond our financial resources to fully fund the girls attendance at this trip with flights, accommodation, meals, uniforms, etc).
Whilst we will do our best to finance a proportion of the cost, we are seeking financial assistance from everywhere and anyone no donation is to big or small...
