Soy Patricio Sáenz tengo 9 años y está es mi historia…
El 18 de enero del 2013 me detectaron LEUCEMIA LINFOBLASTICA AGUDA. Empezamos con quimioterapias pero el 17 de octubre del 2014 tuve mi primer recaída, me aparecieron células cancerígenas en el sistema nervioso central y volvimos a empezar todo el esquema de mi tratamiento sometiéndome a más quimioterapias, punciones y exámenes de médula. Después de dos años de tratamiento y a punto de entrar en remisión tuve otra recaída en el testículo izquierdo, regreso el cáncer y volví a recibir radiaciones y más quimioterapias. Así estuve un año más hasta que por fin el 14 de junio del 2017 finalmente entre en remisión. Las células malas se fueron y vencí el cáncer. Cada mes tenían que checar mi sangre para que todo estuviera normal. Y con tan solo 4 meses y medio de disfrutar de mi salud el 30 de octubre de este año volví a recaer por tercera vez. Tengo 9 años de los cuales 5 han sido dentro de un hospital. Ya no aguanto más quimios y mi única opción es someterme a un trasplante de médula. Es por eso que estamos pidiendo tu apoyo para poder pagar todo mi tratamiento que cuesta al rededor de 2 millones de pesos. Mis doctores Luis Peraza Martínez y Jesús Gerardo Muñiz Ugalde serán los que estarán a cargo de todo este proceso en el Sanatorio Español.

On January 18, 2013, I was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We then started with chemotherapy but on October 17, 2014, I had my first relapse, cancer cells appeared in my central nervous system. We once again started the whole scheme of my treatment undergoing more chemotherapy, punctures and marrow tests. After two years of treatment and right before I underwent remission I had another relapse in my left testicle, the cancer had returned and I had to receive radiation and more chemotherapy again. So I stayed a year until finally on June 14, 2017, I went through remission. The bad cells went away and by that time I had beated cancer. After that I had to have a monthly follow up to make sure my blood and everything else was normal. And with only four and a half months of enjoying my health on October 30th of this year I relapsed for the third time. I am 9 years old of which 5 I have spent at hospitals. My body won’t tolerate any more chemo and my only option is to undergo a bone marrow transplant. That is why we are asking for your support to help my parents pay for my treatment that costs around 2 million pesos. My doctors Luis Peraza Martínez and Jesús Gerardo Muñiz Ugalde will be in charge of all this process in the Sanatorio Español.
