Donation protected
My Father Roger “Pop” Buffalow has spent the last 50 years of his life doing God’s work. He has traveled the Eastern seaboard singing and playing his guitar with various different gospel music groups. Currently his band is Glorybound located in Dinwiddie County. They go to churches, festivals,, Nursing homes, and anywhere God has opened the door for them to go sharing God’s word through music. All the while never charging one single to dime to come. My Father has never charged anyone for the last fifty years.

Roger “Pop” Buffalow has worked for many non-profit organizations such as Relay For Life of Dinwiddie/ American Cancer Society. He has organized many fundraisers over the years for people in need. He has never turned anyone away that needed help. He has taken in children that needed a home. He has worked very actively with local motorcycle ministries such as: Broken Chainz and The Cross Bearers.  He has worked hard in his home Church -Faith Heritage as the song leader and so much more. He has helped the Disabled Veterans chapter 47. He was currently working with the Run For The Wall veterans motorcycle ride.  He has never turned away anyone who needed a helping hand and has served his community well.

Roger “Pop” Buffalow is a Vietnam Veteran serving as a armored tank driver in the United States Army from 1964 to 1970.

Now Roger “Pop” Buffalow needs your help please.  On June 29, 2019 Roger suffered a major stroke. He was med-flighted to VCU/MCV where he was given a 50/50 chance of survival. And 1 percent of ever being able to do anything again. Well God has provided many miracles since that day. First he did survive and he is able to understand you and know what you are talking about. He has become verbal and has began trying to sing again. He is still has paralyzed weakness on his right side. He has been to Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg where he has made great progress. He is currently in Dinwiddie Health and Rehab short term to receive more therapy. However he wants to go home. Our family wants him to come home especially his wife Nannie who is the moderate stages of Alzheimer’s herself.

We have a major road block in his journey home.  There are many home repairs that need to be done before we can take him home. When he goes home it will be with a hospital bed, wheelchair and other hospital equipment.  And therapy will continue at home.

The home repairs consist replace weak floors, removing two walls, replace an entire bathroom and making handicap accessible. Such as replacing the toilet, handicap hand rails up, lowering the bathroom sink for the handicap, placing a walk or roll in shower. Doors have to be widen and replaced. Pop is a skin cancer survivor so he needs a covered porch to sit outside. And other little repairs. God has provided two angels Buddy and Ethan Bowman to do the work now we are having fundraising for the necessary funds to purchase the materials.

I can not think of anyone who deserves this help. He has always been a good Godly man. Please help us get him home.
