Police and Fire World Games

My name is William Docchio and I am competing in the Police and Fire World games in California on August 14th, 15th, and 16th.  This event is held bi annually at various cities throughout the world.  This is basically the olympics for Police and Firefighters.  They have events from crossfit to archery.  I will be competing in the motocross race that is held at Glen Helen Raceway.  I am using this oppurtunity to raise money for the Connecticut Burns Foundation , Ct Burn Camp.  This camp is a free camp for children with severe burns to attend during the summer.  It is a great camp for the kids with tons of activities which focus on building self confidence and self esteem.  As a firefighter in Connecticut for the past 18 years I have personally seen the devistation and loss that families go through when their home burns, nevermind the horror of when a child sustains burns during such an ordeal.  I am going to local businesses in the area and securing sponsorships to donate amounts of money to the burn camp depending on the results of my race at the world games.  These donations start at $100.00 up to $500.00 with a race win.  My goal is to raise $5,000.00 for the Burn Camp.  100% of these local sponsorships are going to the burn camp.  This go fund me is to raise money to get me to the race to compete.  I have to drive from Connecticut to California and pay for hotels and gas.  I am doing this seperately from the sponsorships because I want all the sponsorship money to go to the burn camp.  I estimate this whole adventure will cost me close to 3,000.00 .   I have the ability to put $1,500.00 of my own money into this but need an additional $1,500.00 .   Please help me to not only compete in the Police and Fire World Games but also to raise money for a great cause.   ***Just a quick update***  Since I am not on social media I linked my go fund me page with my wifes facebook page.  That is why her name is now appearing on this page.
