I got a call from by friend at 7:10am that there had been an accident with someone from contra flow, she asks if Poki was working, I said I would call him. Few minutes later a police officer called that Poki had an accident at work and was being taken via ambulance to ER. He has swelling to his brain and is being admitted to ICU. God in his infinite wisdom had my friend call... Thanks Franny & Rich... MAHALO KE AKUA!! Please pray...

Thank you everyone for all your kind words and prayers...
Poki is very close to his 2nd year anniversary since he was injured on 12/1/16 when he fell off the State Contra Flow Truck and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Our life has been changed drastically and permanently in many ways yet looking back over our last 2 years I can say I’ve learned a lot about myself; my role as a wife, caregiver and friend. I thank the good Lord above that my husband is alive. We have hung on to each other for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health till death do us part!!! Never have I understood those vows till I was living it in real life!!!! I look back over our life and I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you that have given your love, prayers and donations to help my family! I would not have made it thru the most difficult time in my life had it not been for Ke Akua and all of you with your love and blessings. I do not know what the future holds, as I had so many hopes and dreams for my life with my husband and family. My focus has changed and I look forward in anticipation to the grace of God that directs my path! I ( We) love you all and pray Gods greatest blessings be abundantly returned to you tenfold for your kindness and goodness as God loves a “cheerful giver” !!! God Bless
