Poncho's on going medical bills
Donation protected
On November 10th 2017, I came home to find my dog Poncho laying in his basket unable to move and no longer responding to my voice. We immediately rushed him to the animal clinic/hospital. His red blood cells had dropped drastically over the course of the day and were at a dangerously low level. They diagnosed him as having Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia and began testing for the underlying cause. They gave him 2 blood transfusions and kept him there in the hospital for over 10 days, running all sorts of test. On November 23, they discovered that he was positive for ifat ehrlichia canis which is a subtropical disease that might have been lying dormant in his system from his days on the streets in Mallorca before I adopted him. He is currently on 5 different medications and will need to go back regularly for blood work and check-ups, but I am relieved and happy to share that he is doing much better.
Please help me reach my goal of 1300 euro by making a small donation - even 2-3 euros helps get me closer to my goal!
Thanks with all my heart,
Michelle & Poncho
