On Friday March 20, an accidental fire occured at Hunt's Automotive in Laurel, DE. My father, John Hunt has owned this business in this location for many years. Many of you may have even had him work on your vehicles. Not only was this his business, but part of the building is his residence. The fire quickly destroyed much of the main shop including tools, equipment and personal possessions. The other part of the shop for the offices and living area was heavily damaged with smoke. My father is a humble man and does not ask for much as he does not want to be a burden to others. I wanted to start this page to raise funds to get him back on his feet to cover expenses over the next few months, including repairs, food and shelter. We are not sure where the shop will go from here, but we know God has a plan in all things and he will begin to pick up the pieces and move forward. If you can, we ask that you please donate if you can. Many have stopped by the shop to show their support and this is also much appreciated. He has a long journey ahead, but with all of our help, I hope to give him a jump start. Thank you for your consideration and prayers.
