Chase's Medical Fund

It all started back in March. Our best friend Lauren's brother, Chase, was walking outside and slipped on black ice. Ever since then, he's been in excruciating back pain. On Passover a few weeks ago, Chase suddenly lost feeling in his legs and collapsed. After being rushed to the hospital, Chase was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that the doctors said took over and crushed part of his spine. He still has not gained feeling back in his legs, and is paralyzed from the waist down. Chase had to endure an extensive spinal surgery to rebuild his spine along with removing the tumor. Although successful, the doctors recommended that he begin radiation today. His family has been working together to figure out how to renovate their home to make it handicap accessible upon his return.

The financial burden and stress of hospital visits, surgeries, medical treatment, and the cost of renovation and home nurses has been difficult for Chase's family.
