On December 15th, one day before his 50th birthday, Alfonso Jerome Kimbrough died at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ after suffering from hemorrhagic shock.
Unfortunately, because Jerome did not have life insurance, his partner, Michelle Perez, needs your help with the financial burden of his unexpected passing.
We have established this GoFundMe account in order to raise money for her to pay off Jerome's medical expenses and for his final services.
In addition to monetary donations, we also ask that people share photos and memories of Jerome, who was loved by hundreds of people who met him in Drum Corps. and throughout life.
Since Jerome left us, countless of his friends have reached out on Facebook to express how much he meant to them. Their kind words and thoughts have truly helped Michelle and her family get through this tough time and they have also proven that Jerome and his lovable, carefree personality is one that will be remembered for years to come.
We would like to invite everyone who donates to join us after the holidays as we celebrate Jerome's life among friends and family. In the spirit of his hippie attitude and bohemian beliefs, people are encouraged to wear tie dye to the service. Details are listed below.
