Hello Family, Friends, and Fans of the Georgia Stars Track & Field Club. It is that time of the year when we respectfully seek your support to help our talented team of athletes travel to the AAU Junior Olympics in Des moine, Iowa on July 25, 2018. We are extremely excited about our success on the track this season.  Even more phenomenal than our last achievement of qualifying 55 youth for the Jr. Olympics, this year we have 67 youth who qualified. That is 12 more youth than last year. The cost associated with out of town travel for 67 athletes gets very expensive. A charter bus, hotel, and meals for 5 days will run close to $12,000. Our athletes pay fees to run and also do a variety of fundraisers. However, this year finances for many families are tight and our trip to Iowa is in jeopardy. We have a very talented team of elite athletes who are also respectful teenagers and good students. For the past six years, the Georgia Stars Track program has helped develop the talents of over 400 youth. Over the past few years, we've had over 40 athletes place in the top 8 in the nation, earning them All-American status. This year we are primed for a very successful end to our season and look to perform very well on the national stage. Your contribution will go towards travel expenses which include a charter bus, hotel fees, and meals. There are thousands of talented youth seeking support for sports and we know it is a tough decision. So, we thank you for taking the time to read our page, and we hope you decide to support our team.
