Billy Maynard has been battling a very courageous battle with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer since December 2018. Sadly, he has been assured his condition is terminal, and was given only a few months to live. By the Grace of God, Billy was chosen to participate in a clinical trial, which has produced amazing results. Billy has defied the statistics, but recent setbacks have him struggling. A multitude of side effects and new health issues forced doctors to cease treatments and end participation in the trial. Billy's health has deteriorated to the point they cannot begin other treatments. Billy is currently in the hospital, and when released will be going into a rehabilitation facility for an undermined length of time to try to regain strength. Currently he is not self independent and needs round the clock care.
The 21 months of constant trips to doctors, treatments, etc. have depleted all family finances. Added trips, due to the increased health issues, and visits for wife Darlene, securement of specialized medical apparatuses, and added expenses are proving devastating.
If you are from the Towanda Wyalusing area, chances are you know Billy either from his business, Graphix By Billy, his racing career, or the many kind things he has done within our community. We need to support this kind, generous individual who despite his struggles still worries about and puts others before himself.
I implore of you, if you can donate anything at all, even a prayer, please help this incredibly deserving individual and his family! Keep them from losing everything Billy worked his whole life for. If you are able, please dig deep. His pride would never allow him to ask for help, so I am asking on his behalf. All monies will be deposited into an account for the benefit of Billy.
