Dear friends and family,
Venessa's having a really hard time. She's currently in ICU in a medically-induced coma fighting for her life. She has been in and out of hospitals since December, 2016 and dealing with liver disease for 10 years. We're praying she comes out of this good and ready for a new liver and to continue raising her amazing little boy.
Venessa is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back. I know this because she's been my best friend for over 30 years. She's my sister and unfortunately, I'm thousands of miles away. Shannon and I came up with the idea to run this campaign to help cover her increasing bills, rent (found out she has to move after only being in her current place for 3 months) and expenses and food for her son.
We haven't told her we are orchestrating this because she's a proud, strong lady who won't accept help even on a good day. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS. In the event anything should happen to her, the money will be put into a trust for little James. Let's gather together and do what we can for this wonderful human being PLEASE AND THANK.
