Fighting 4 Life, Wife has rare Myxoid Liposarcoma

Hello, it’s hard for me to ask for support and I thank you in advance for your consideration to my cause. I am reaching out for my wife, my High School sweetheart, my best friend, my everything in life of over 25 years. 

My wife Myssi Miller has had Myxoid Liposarcoma for the past 7 years. Started in her foot and that was misdiagnosed for about a year. She went through emergency amputation surgery first, then had multiple removals with large incisions, (9), then chemo, then radiation, more chemo, more radiation, (she’s maxed out on radiation treatments and a couple away from her last dose of chemotherapy), then surgery, now it’s moved to her spine. This is where they say her cancer likes to find its way to and stay. 

She’s had multiple thoracic surgeries and has been treated at Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and Cancer Treatment Center in Chicago. She is a fighter and has been a leader at amputee coalition meetings, was an acitive runner even with her prosthetic.

The most recent surgery the surgeons took out cancer cells from around her T3 and then removed the T3 and placed titanium bars from her T2-T5.

She is in horrible pain and it’s been around 4 weeks of therapy. She will not be able to go back to work, to actively play with our 9 year old son or perhaps even drive again. She has done everything to fight this monster. She is bed bound now. Eats gluten and dairy free everything for years so her body could fight the cancer and not work so hard to process. 

She remains positive and still has 4 more tumors developing between her spine, liver and lung cavities. This type of cancer never stops, never quits, just like my wife. She is a strong woman and I’ve never seen her cry like she does right now. 

As of Dec 2nd we were just rushed to the hospital again because her incision just busted open and her spine is exposed. Staples were removed too soon because her skin isn’t healing well from radiation therapy.
