35980042_1546952769486638_r.jpegMy dearest friends and family. I ask that you please pray for my family and for Caleb. At 12:30am tonight Caleb went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. The police, EMTs, Paramedics and the hospital all performed CPR to try and resuscitate him. Though successful he was gone for much too long and the doctors tell me he will have irreversible brain damage. To the point where if by some miracle he wakes up he won’t even recognize his daddy. I ask that you pray for him because at this point the doctors are saying to expect the worst. So I ask that you pray my little boy so that his passing from this world is full of nothing but love from everyone who knew him laughed at his crazy silliness and just found him to be the best little dude ever. Thank you all for your love and prayers.

This is an update from Caleb’s Daddy Justin,
My dearest friends, family and loved ones, as the father of the greatest little man this world has ever seen or known it is with a broken heart that I feel will never heal that at 7:20pm last night (1/7/19) my super hero Caleb has passed on from this world. Words can not describe the feelings and emotions that I have been experiencing for the past 13 hours. A deeply seeded sadness is chief among them because I will never hear his voice again his laugh or the thuds of him pretending to be Spider-Man bouncing around the house. But in this sadness and I could go in but in his memory that is not what I want nor what he would want. He was so much stronger than I and like Spider-Man he is a true superhero now. I say that because he will help others live on or give others a better quality of life. My beautiful son always wanted to help others so he has become an organ donor. Even at 8 years old I know he would want this because long ago when his pop-pop got sick and he lost kidney function and was going to be bound to dialysis 3 times a week. Caleb, after over hearing a conversation between me and my mother came over and offered his kidney to his grandfather. Even after I explained the process to him he still wanted to help. So he will now get that chance to help others. He was my rock and I hurt in ways I cannot describe but I picture him now happier than ever with much love where he is and everything he could ever want. Thank you all for your continued help and support and prayers for Caleb and myself and family. I can’t express how much it means to us.

Update on my friend's son. They "warmed" him up today to check system functions and all seems to be well except for his pancreas. Because he was lacking oxygen so long, there is a glitch with the insulin. Thank God there are things you can do to help with insulin. So small victory here!!

Caleb is still in a drug induced coma while his little body tries to heal. Please please please continue to keep him and his dad in your thoughts and prayers. Keep his whole family in prayer if you would.

Thank you all so much!!
