Please Help Us Help Paralympia

On May 2, 2017, shortly after she arrived in her foster home beautiful Russian Blue Cross Teela gave birth to three kittens

Her foster Mum noticed that tiny Paralympia's umbilical cord was wound tightly around her hind legs.

We rushed her to a vet, who gave us the terrible news that this happened while she was developing inside her mother and that her feet had been deformed.

The only way to save this little kitten's life,  her hind legs below the “knee” were amputated. 

Paralympia has survived the surgery and is doing well. Her mother is taking forever good care of her at the vet's office.


The vet has assured us that Paralympia can adapt and learn to run and jump and enjoy her life, never knowing that she is “different”,  and we want to give her this chance.

She is determined to survive and we are determined to help her!
