Please help support my brother who has cancer.

My brother Joseph Scerbo is a graduate of East Hampton High School year of 1988. He is a single father to his daughter Serenity, who is 16 years old. Joey just turned 50 this past July and a few days after this monumental milestone,  he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Initially,  the doctors diagnosed him with his cancer being stage 1 but we just learned that it was a misdiagnosis and it's now stage 3!

Joey and his daughter live in Washington state, with all of his family and friends residing in different states - he has no local support system.  Unfortunately, due to his illness, he is no longer able to work or support Serenity. He currently has medical insurance but his deductible is very high and he is responsible for 20% of the cost out of pocket. His medical expenses and financial worries are beginning to pile up rapidly. Not only is he fighting for his life, he has the added stress and worry about how he will raise his daughter and pay for his medical expenses.

He is very stressed, as you can imagine and is not handling the news very well.  Our family would like nothing more than to help ease his financial burdens until we can figure out what will happen next. We are asking for donations for his medical expenses and some financial ease to help raise his 16 year old daughter . We are hoping to raise as much as we can to help pay for his medical bills and help with Serenity so he can focus on getting better.

We appreciate any help that we can get and thank you in advance for your time!

Take care and God bless!
